How Digitally Mature is Your Organization?

Digitally mature organizations have the talent, culture, leadership and strategy needed to win the digital transformation race. Is your company a contender?

The dash towards digital transformation might be the most important race your company ever competes in and it's the organizations who display the most "digital maturity" that are pulling ahead of the pack. A report released by MIT Sloan Management Review and Deloitte examines what 3,700 business executives, managers and analysts believe separates inexperienced organizations from those that are more mature when it comes to their ability to drive digital change.

To help define what makes up a digitally mature company, respondents were asked to "imagine an ideal organization transformed by digital technologies and capabilities that improve processes, engage talent across the organization and drive new value-generating business models." They were then asked to rate their own companies against that ideal on a scale of 1 to 10. Within those ratings three maturity groups were observed and classified as: "Early' (1-3), "Developing' (4-6), and 'Maturing' (7-10).

The infographic below provides a high-level view of these survey results and presents a picture of what respondents believe a Digitally Mature organization looks like.
